About Brigitte
I am a dressmaker with over 40 years of experience of making dresses for weddings and other special occasions and live in the Salisbury, Wiltshire area. I began applying my abilities to creating tapestry handbags with that special eye for detail a dressmaker has some 15 years ago. I create tapestry bespoke handbags where each one is an individual design and material combination with every bag being a 'one-off'. Internally each is completed with what I feel are those feminine touches. Only quality fabrics and materials are used and each bag completed with my own identifiable 'Brigitte' motif. Also available are back-packs and Cross-bags.
I also produce a number of accessories including mobile phone and spectacle cases.

Bespoke Tapestry Handbags

Mobile Phone Cases
Stay organized and give some protection to your mobile phone. A variety of colourful printed traditional and modern fun printed cotton fabrics, lined with padding between the inner and outer layers. Available with a zip fastener or the traditional clasp. The clasp is fitted by hand stitching showing the complete care taken on all items, from start to finish, by Brigitte.
Spectacle Cases
Similar to the mobile phone cases in material, zip fastener/clasp option and lining but slightly smaller to fit spectacles.

Purses
At a time when banks are aiming towards a cash free society most of us still feel a need for small amounts of money on hand, especially a few coins. My purses are available in both the traditional and modern print materials and again available with either a clasp or zip fastener. Finished by hand stitching.

Cosmetic Bags
Complete your travelling style with a handmade cosmetic bag by Brigitte, again in the traditional or modern cotton print materials. Fully hand-crafted and hand made by Brigitte with that eye for detail. Available in traditional or modern materials. Ideal for both overnight and longer holiday or business trips. Allows you to keep all of your cosmetics and creams together. The larger zip fastener bag is also suitable for storing underwear and socks and by simply opening the zip the bag opens out to display all of the contents while keeping them together; straight out of the suitcase and into the cabinet draw.
Sizes vary but are generally around 10cm x 20cm.
Dog walker bags
The dog walker bag is aimed at providing a handy and practical solution for dog owners. Pick up your bag, take out the lead and you are ready to go. The open 'ring' allows pooh bags to be quickly pulled out. The top open compartment can be used for on-hand-treats while the zip up compartment holds items securely. The strap provided is fully adjustable and can be used for over-the-shoulder or simply around the waist. The fabric used is water repellent.
Key Holder
A simple but effective way of keeping your keys together and a means of securing them into your bag. Available in traditional or modern cotton fabrics. A zip secures the key compartment with a clip or ring option for securing.
